"WHAT'S HER NAME?"

If someone calls you by the wrong name, you notice it right away, don't you?  And when somebody that you just met remembers your name and uses it throughout your conversation, you are impressed with that and sometimes feel guilty because you don't remember what his or her name was. A person's name is important.
As you go out each day to be Jesus in your circle of life, learn and practice the names of the people who serve you each day... the lady at the bank, the man at the store, the waitress at the restaurant, etc.  If you don't know them yet but you see their name badge, call them by name and be kind to them... you may be the first person that day that was polite to them.  Ask them how they are doing and actually listen to what they say.  As you build that relationship, also add ministry moments such as asking 'Is there anything going on in your life right now that you would like for me to pray about this week?'  When they see that you really care about them, you get to be Jesus to them.

16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.  Matt 5:16 (ESV)
